Your Body Has Been Through a Lot. Let's Help It Move Again.
Adults over 40 are dealing with a completely different body than they had in their 20s. Years of sitting, stress, repetitive movement, old injuries, workouts, sports, surgeries, and daily life all start to add up. The body gets tighter. Recovery slows down. Joints stiffen. Movement becomes less efficient. Most people notice it in small ways first.
You wake up stiff. You can't rotate like you used to. Your back tightens after driving. Your shoulders feel restricted overhead. Your hips feel locked up after sitting. You stop moving confidently.
Stretch therapy helps reverse that trend.
Improved Mobility
Clients often notice they can move easier almost immediately. Getting in and out of the car feels smoother. Reaching overhead improves. Walking feels more natural.
Reduced Tightness and Stiffness
A lot of adults carry constant tension in the hips, hamstrings, low back, chest, shoulders, and neck. Stretch therapy helps restore length and reduce that tight feeling that never seems to go away.
Better Recovery
For active adults who strength train, golf, play pickleball, run, or cycle, recovery becomes increasingly important with age. Stretch therapy helps the body recover faster and move better between workouts and activities.
Improved Posture
Tight hips, rounded shoulders, a stiff thoracic spine, and restricted ankles all contribute to poor posture patterns. Assisted stretching helps open these areas and improve body positioning naturally.
Less Tension and Discomfort
Many clients are not looking to become gymnasts. They just want to move without discomfort. Stretch therapy often helps reduce tension headaches, low back tightness, neck stiffness, hip restriction, and general achiness that comes with a busy life.
Confidence in Movement
One of the biggest things we see at RxD is people regaining trust in their body again. They stop moving cautiously and start feeling capable.

Stop Chasing Symptoms. Start Treating the Source.
YouTube cannot assess your body. It cannot feel where your restrictions are. It cannot adjust based on your surgery history, joint limitations, movement compensations, or how your body responds in real time.
Most people end up working on the wrong areas because they are chasing symptoms instead of addressing the real restriction. A tight hamstring is often actually a hip or pelvic positioning issue. A stiff shoulder might really come from the thoracic spine. A low back issue may originate from tight hips and limited rotation.
At RxD our coach adjusts pressure, positioning, angles, breathing, and stretch intensity throughout each session based on how your body responds. That level of customization is not possible from a generic online routine.
There is also the accountability factor. People are far more consistent when they schedule dedicated care for themselves instead of hoping they will get around to stretching at home after a long day.
What Is Assisted Stretch Therapy?
Assisted stretch therapy is coach-guided mobility work performed by a trained professional who guides your body through specific stretches, positions, and movement patterns designed for your individual needs.
The biggest difference between assisted stretching and stretching on your own comes down to this. When you stretch yourself your muscles naturally guard and tighten because your body is trying to stay stable. Most people can only access a limited range of motion on their own as a result. At RxD our coach helps your body relax deeper into positions safely while also targeting areas you may not even realize are contributing to your stiffness and restriction.
Every session at RxD is completely customized and integrated into our longevity-focused coaching philosophy. This is not a cookie cutter follow-along stretch class. We work one-on-one with each client to improve movement quality, reduce tension, and help the body feel more fluid and capable again. Some clients need hip mobility. Others need neck and shoulder relief. Some need support after joint replacements or old injuries. Every body moves differently, so every session should too.
For most adults over 40 stretching at home turns into touching your toes for 20 seconds and hoping for the best. The RxD Stretch Therapy Experience goes far beyond that.
Who RxD Stretch Therapy Is For
We designed this experience for adults who refuse to let stiffness dictate what they can and cannot do. If you are dealing with limited range of motion, post-surgical recovery, activity-related tightness, or general mobility decline, this is for you. Our goal is not to fix a symptom. It is to help you move freely, recover faster, and stay active.

What To Expect From Your 50 Minute Stretch Therapy Consult
Your first session at RxD is intentionally longer because we want to understand your body before jumping into anything. This isn't a random collection of stretches thrown at you. It's a real assessment followed by coach-guided work built around what your body actually needs.
A Conversation About Your History
You'll talk through injuries, surgeries, areas of restriction, activity level, goals, and daily movement limitations. A former athlete with tight hips needs a completely different approach than someone recovering from a knee replacement. That conversation is where it starts.
Movement and Mobility Assessment
Our coach looks at how your body moves as a system. We identify areas that are restricted, overworked, compensating, or lacking mobility. This is what separates a professional assessment from guessing.
Hands-On Assisted Stretching
You'll go through a fully customized stretch session based on what your body needs most. This may include hip mobility work, hamstring stretching, thoracic rotation, shoulder mobility, neck decompression, low back relief positions, and assisted breathing techniques.
Education and Next Steps
You'll leave with a better understanding of why your body feels the way it does and what areas need consistent attention going forward. Most people walk out saying they haven't moved like that in years.
